Round 2 of Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship 2025, a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue a Master’s Degree at one of the participating universities in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, or Japan. This prestigious scholarship covers 41 eligible Master’s Degree Programs across 24 universities. To apply, candidates must have received an unconditional offer for admission to one of the JJ/WBGSP participating programs. The scholarship application form will only be sent to those who have been unconditionally admitted. There are no application fees for the World Bank Scholarship. Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of a developing country.
  • Citizenship: Cannot hold dual citizenship of any developed country.
  • Health: Must be in good health.
  • Education: Must possess a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) obtained at least three years before the application deadline.
  • Have received unconditional admission to a participating program by the scholarship application deadline.
  • Professional Experience: Must have at least 3 years of full-time, paid development-related employment within the past 6 years. Part-time work may be considered.

How to Apply for the Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship?

Applicants have to apply online to one of the World Bank Scholarship Eligible Master’s Programs. Only Shortlisted applicants who have received un conditional offer can apply for the World Bank Scholarship.
